DESCRIPTION:This is a half-day course\, with five (5.0) CME/CLE General
 Hours and one (1) CME/CLE Ethics Hour.  It focuses on why and how
 mediating a larger County case is different from mediating a smaller
 dispute. We will cover the impact attorneys have on the process and on the
 mediator\, how to identify and manage attorney agendas\, and how to manage
 party empowerment when one or more parties has counsel.  We'll also cover
 attorneys' fees issues\, ethical pressures on the mediator\, multiparty
 litigation\, and additional confounding factors.
