This is a two (2) hour CME/CLE course. While there aren’t many appellate mediations in Florida at this time, some mediators may have the opportunity to mediate appellate cases, and it is important to understand how the role of mediator is different once a trial court has rendered a decision, a “winner” and a “loser” have been determined, and the trial record governs. This program highlights the best tools to use, and how to reach a successful outcome.
Lunch ‘n’ Learn: Zoom Mediation
This is a two and a half (2.5) hour CME/CLE course. It is focused on providing information for mediators not yet accustomed to mediating online. We review creating a Zoom account, scheduling a Zoom mediation, creating breakout rooms, and the mechanics of getting a mediated agreement signed; as well as highlighting methods and tools most effective when used with online mediation.
