Get Ready for the $50,000 County Case! Mediator Skills Enhancement for Better County Mediations
This course provides 4 2/3 CME and CLE hours on Zoom. Until January 1, 2020, County Court litigation mediation was limited to cases up to $15,000. On January 1, 2020, that limit increased to $30,000, and on January 1, 2023, the limit became $50,000. Mediators accustomed to working with unrepresented parties, or attorneys only on occasion, will now be seeing attorneys more and more often. MTG is offering this course to enhance County Mediator skills on mediating with attorneys and is focused on providing tools for understanding and handling tactics litigating attorneys bring to mediation.
