LET’S TALK ABOUT CH. 720 HOMEOWNER ASSOCIATION MEDIATIONS

This is a two (2) hour CME/CLE course running from 12:00pm to 2:00pm on Zoom.  It provides two (2) CME Ethics and General Hours and is approved for two (2) CLE General Hours and one (1) CLE Ethics Hour for Attorneys.  Through a look at four (4) MEAC Opinions, this program covers how to navigate HOA mediations, how to focus on participant self-determination and mediator impartiality, and the importance of not giving advice or expressing an opinion.  The conflicts between Ch. 720 (the HOA statute), and Ch. 44 and the Rules for Certified and Court-Appointed Mediators raise difficult questions.
